An International Ministry to the Deaf founded by Missionary Dana Alexander in 1982. Involves Church planting, evangelism and establishing Schools for the Deaf in the Dominican Republic.
God called me to be a missionary to the Deaf back in 1974. At that time I could barely sign and was totally ignorant of Deaf or Deaf Culture. God, in His goodness led me and taught me as I did "hands on" ministry with the Deaf. (no pun intended) I began my Deaf missions experience in Bolivia, S.A and then on to Puerto Rico and finally in 1984 made my first trip to the Dominican Republic. Most of my work has been done there since then. I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. I attend Spokane Deaf Church of the Open Bible in Spokane Valley, WA. I am a licensed minister with the Open Bible Churches. I have been a born-again Christian since 1970 when the Lord Jesus Christ wonderfully revealed Himself to me as my Savior and Lord. He changed my life completely and has been my ever-present Companion, Guide, Provider and Strength since that day. My utmost goal in life is the serve Him and be faithful to obey what He asked of me. I am now serving in the Dominican Republic where I am "on assignment" from the Lord.
